Egyptian table ML10097 - Oak oil

The Egyptian table ML10097 does not bear this name by chance since its design was directly inspired by the folding supports found in Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922. Designed by designer Mogens Lassen, this small round solid wood table was presented for the first time at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers Guild Exhibition in 1940.
Like many pieces of furniture from this period, it combines functionality, intelligence and a timeless look. Over the years, it has not lost its splendor and is still a trendy coffee table. The Egyptian table has a small sliding brass latch under its top so it can be folded up and stored easily.
